We start our walk in the village of HAREWOOD and follow paths around the perimeter of the Harewood Estate via Church Lane and Home Farm, and passing by the lake you will see Harewood House behind you. We continue to Stub House farm where we will see ‘EMMERDALE’ village, which is the site for the TV filming for this popular ‘soap’. Continuing along the Leeds Country Way and then the Dales Way, we skirt the village of Eccup and then pass by Bowshaws and Bank top Farm, to pick up the Ebor Way to BRAMHOPE. Here we will have our lunch stop at the Fox and Hounds. After lunch continue on the Dales Way, via the popular Chevin Forest Park. A short ascent will bring us to the summit of Otley Chevin, giving all round views of the surrounding area, including a close up view of the runway of Leeds Bradford Airport. After a possible coffee stop here, we descend via the White House into OTLEY town centre, to reach the end of the walk.
